secret level
We're getting a second season of Secret Level
The Secret Level official X account just teased a new season for the series of short animations. For those unaware, Secret Level adapts various games and franchises like Warhammer 40,000, Pac-Man and Concord into short animated episodes. The team behind it is the same that did Love, Death and Robots on Netflix. We don't know much more about the second season of Secret Level. So far there's no information on what games season two will adapt, or when that season will premier.
Animated video game anthology show Secret Level sure looks pretty
Amazon has released a new trailer for Secret Level, the upcoming Prime Video show that tells stories set in the worlds of beloved, popular or even upcoming games (and also Concord). Given that it's an anthology series, there's unlikely to be an overarching plot, so there's not much to grok here from a narrative perspective. And the sooner there's a mortarium on trailers being soundtracked to that overused M83 song, the better. However, the visuals sure do look pretty. The quality of the animation is genuinely impressive.

Animated video game anthology series Secret Level is coming to Prime Video
Secret Level is a gaming-inspired anthology series coming to Prime Video on December 15. The upcoming Amazon title is from the same team behind Netflix's Love, Death and Robots. From the teaser released during Gamescom, this new project will be continuing the Blur Studio specialty for creating masterful animated works for an adult audience. The creative team was looking to inspire "nerd joy" with Love, Death and Robots and from the first glimpse, Secret Level seems like a natural progression of that goal. Each of the 15 stories in the show are inspired by a different game.
